Overview

The Portuguese D8 visa (formerly the passive income visa, now officially the Digital Nomad Visa) allows remote workers with income from abroad to live in Portugal.

Key Eligibility Criteria

  • Prove remote work income ≥ 4× Portuguese minimum wage (~€3,280/month for 2024)
  • Health insurance valid in Portugal
  • Clean criminal record
  • Proof of accommodation
